Ukrpol invests in Omet VaryFlex V2

Amid a war, Ukrpol, one of Ukraine's leading printing companies, has enhanced its flexible packaging production capabilities with the installation of an Omet VaryFlex V2. 

Established in 1997 near Lviv, Ukrpol is one of the leading packaging specialists in Eastern Europe with continuous investments in technology and quality management. Since 2021, the company has operated three production sites with modern equipment, employing a team of 600 with offices are Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro and the capital of Poland - Warsaw.

Over the years, the company has consistently expanded its production capabilities and diversified its product range to meet evolving customer needs. Now its offer includes holograms, laminates, 3D packaging, envelopes and other specialized products like flexible packaging based on aluminum foil.

Despite the war, Ukrpol does not stop producing. It continues to work, increasing its production capacity and even its sales geographical network. 

The latest investment is an Omet VaryFlex, a mid-web flexible packaging printing press featuring solvent-based and UV technology, can combine a wide range of printing and finishing technologies in-line.

The new equipment will expand Ukpol's production capacity and capabilities, especially in the shrink sleeve and food packaging products. It will allow the business to increase the volumes of aluminum foil production.
