Monotech Systems launches TraceSci
Monotech Systems has launched TraceSci supply chain authentication and tracking technology.
Counterfeiting and leakage in the supply chain is an issue across consumer-based industries such as FMCG, healthcare, pharma, life sciences and electronics. In absence of a strong supply chain monitoring, a situation such as a pandemic allows counterfeiters to penetrate and disrupt the market resulting in revenue losses, compromsed brand image and consumer trust and health.
A Global Initiative study found that a dramatic increase in counterfeited pharmaceuticals and medicines, adding to an illicit industry already estimated to be worth more than 4 billion EUR.
Kunal Kothari, DGM - software and applications development, Monotech Systems, said: ‘After serving the industry with various flagship variable data and printing and anti-counterfeiting solutions for over 15 years, Monotech Systems has launched a very effective and commercially viable supply chain authentication and tracking solution.’

It is a SaaS platform that is powered by blockchain that provides brand owners, deep consumers and supply chain insights regarding their products such as real-time GPS location, scanning pattern, and suspicious activity alerts. It will help to get actionable product data for strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
TraceSci can be adapted on a free trial and can be upgraded to the next levels based on requirements, both IOS and Android mobile applications are available for effective live tracking, authentication, and supply chain management.
It is scalable from individual to a group of any members. ‘There are several tools that are inbuilt apart from supply chain management and tracking which can result in an increase of revenue for brands as well as customer trust. The tools include consumer engagement, communicating feedback, loyalty, warranty, product information and brand promotion,’ the company said.
The interface of the technology is user-friendly and process-driven suitable for use by small to large manufacturers. The authentication capabilities enable brand and product protection with secure packaging. Engage with end consumers through access to valuable market insights, including the end user’s profile.
It enables product serialization for digital transformation. The technology supports regulatory compliance mandates set by different countries for different businesses. It can be integrated with any printing/labeling device, speed conveyor systems and vision inspection cameras.
