VPF to launch new products at Labelexpo Europe 2022

The company will promote its new product range for the durables sector including strong and durable adhesive materials for indoor and outdoor applications. The range consists of a total of ten material combinations, some of which are UL-listed, seawater-resistant to BS5609, Sect. 2 and universally applicable for technically demanding labeling applications. The new mateials use PET films and UV­ stable PE and PP face materials suitable for subsequent printing by thermal transfer, inkjet or laser printing technologies.  

 

VPF will also present a completely renewed range of sustainable face materials and liners at Labelexpo. In addition to new grass papers – for inkjet and thermal transfer – the focus will be on silphie, translucent and hemp papers or a paper made from recycled disposable coffee cups, complemented by PE, PP and PET films with a ‘high’ recycled content.  

 

‘Sustainable liners made from recycled paper or R-PET open up new possibilities for reducing the CO2 footprint of many labelstocks,’ according to VPF. 

 

VPF will also present materials for inkjet printing including several novel PE, PP and paper materials qualified for water-based inkjet printing systems. The company plans to develop inkjet materials in future on the basis of recycled films, accompanied in some cases by a ‘significant reduction’ in the thickness of the face materials used.  

 

New product showcase at Labelexpo also includes new face materials for the tamper-proof sealing that leaves behind a Void logo when it is peeled off.  

 

All VPF innovations, including many new adhesives, will be presented in detail at the Labelexpo Europe 2022 in Hall 4, stand C67.
