Stefan Benito joins Sihl Group

Sihl Group has appointed Stefan Benito new commercial vice president for EMEA and APAC, as the group is taking the next step on its transformation journey into becoming a modern technology company.

Sihl Group has appointed Stefan Benito new commercial vice president for EMEA and APAC

Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, Benito previously served for six years on the management board of Thomas, focusing on sales and marketing as well as its Chinese subsidiary. He was responsible for sales of EUR 75 million and chairman of the board of directors for five subsidiaries in the USA, Argentina, and Spain.

After graduating with a degree in business administration, Benito gained extensive international commercial experience at Air Liquide in Düsseldorf, Siegwerk Druckfarben, Huber Packaging Group, and Cabot Switzerland. 

At the Sihl Group, he will also assume responsibility for all sales and market management activities in his territories and report directly to Peter K. Wahsner, CEO of Sihl Group.

Stefan Benito will take up his new position on September 1, 2021.
