GMerix invests in Elite Cameron slitter rewinder

Canadian coater expands its offering with contract slitting and rewinding capabilities.

Canada-based toll coater of materials for adhesive labels, tapes and tags GMerix has invested in Elite Cameron machinery to expand its offering with contract slitting and rewinding services and convert a broad range of materials with accuracy and consistency.

Located just outside of Montreal, Canada, GMerix specializes in the research and development of coatings and adhesives for pressure-sensitive labels, tapes and tags, with its team of scientists and operators.

‘This machine is extremely versatile,’ said Rob McNamee, business development manager for Elite Cameron. ‘With 63in web width, 32in maximum rewind diameter, differential rewind shafts and shear and razor slitting down to 1in width, GMerix will be able to convert a whole host of materials, both adhesive and non-adhesive, with and without a support liner.’
