EFIA extends Academy training capabilities

Neil Jones, Bobst managing director and the EFIA board member responsible for training, said: ‘The board of EFIA takes its responsibility towards furthering the skill set of the UK and European flexo industry very seriously. 

‘We see significant skills gaps emerging in the mid-term with the continuing aging of the current population of employees we have today and there has been a huge gap in the training provision for new employees entering the industry to date. 

‘Academy is a flexible, low cost, training package which supports the entire flexographic print chain from designer to retailer and the inclusion of a module on lean manufacturing comes at a really good time when all parts of the supply chain are focussing on cost out, competitiveness and of course, growth.’
