MM Packaging secures EcoVadis recognition for French production sites

MM Packaging's French pharmaceutical packaging sites have been awarded the EcoVadis platinum medal for sustainability performance, marking the fifth time these product facilities have achieved the recognition.
The assessment by sustainability benchmarking organization EcoVadis considers all aspects of sustainability under the core pillars of policies, actions and results. The achievement positions MM Packaging’s pharmaceutical packaging production sites in France in the top 1 percent of companies assessed globally and covers five pharmaceutical packaging production sites across France.
Maintaining EcoVadis Platinum status since 2020 demonstrates the company’s long-term commitment to sustainability. The business is integrating environmental and social responsibility into every single aspect of its pharmaceutical packaging operations.
Notable achievements in its latest assessment include securing 100 percent renewable electricity contracts, enhancing workplace safety protocols, and optimizing material recycling channels throughout its production processes.
The company’s French pharmaceutical packaging production sites hold key certifications, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, measure carbon footprint and align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The company, which joined the UN Global Compact in 2016, strictly adheres to its principles and implements a robust code of conduct across its operations.
Throughout 2024, MM Packaging France has also increased its use of certified carton board and has made significant gains in workplace safety, with scores increasing consistently since 2021.
