Bobst to host color matching event
Bobst Bielefeld is hosting an Open House event in early October addressing color matching, with presentations from external companies and print demonstrations to look at the topic.
Color management specialist GMG, agency Wesemann Brand & Packaging Design and consultant Uwe Richter will give presentations during the seminar section of the event. GMG will address proofing of spot colors in flexo and Wesemann will talk about print buyers’ demands on print quality and color accuracy. Richter, a consultant for color measurement and management, will then speak about optimizing color matching processes from the ink kitchen to the modified recipe.
Bobst itself will provide an update on the latest developments in its CI flexo technologies before a print demonstration in the Bobst Bielefeld Technology Centre, featuring the latest 8-colour F&K 20SIX CI press.
The first day of the event, October 7 is targeted at German speaking visitors with all presentations given in German, while the second day will be held in English for an international audience. On both days, the formal agenda is scheduled from 11:00 until 18:30.
