IML delivers luxury look for camel’s milk ice cream
RPC Superfos is supplying Al Ain Dairy Company with its RingLock tubs decorated using in-mold labeling (IML) to help ‘convey the qualities’ of its new premium Camelait camel milk ice cream range.
The injection moulded polypropylene RingLock tub feature high-impact golden decoration and visualization of the ice cream, using offset printed IML to deliver photos and graphics of a 'very high resolution' that reflect the premium nature of the product.
Sayyad Mohammed Ghouse, head of plant operations at Al Ain Dairy Company, said: ‘For our new, exclusive product we needed a packaging that could clearly communicate its distinction including the various exciting taste experiences of the Camelait ice cream.’
Camelait ice cream is available in the UAE in six different flavors, and is targeted at high-end customers because the cost of camel’s milk production is higher than that of cow’s milk. The range is available in two sizes: 125ml and 1l. The smaller tubs include a plastic spoon in the lid for on-the-go consumption.
‘Our new ice cream looks outstanding in the RingLock tubs, sending a signal of superior quality. We are happy that we took the word of advice from RPC Superfos about putting a spoon in the lid, as it adds value to the product,’ continued Sayyad Mohammed Ghouse. ‘We have cooperated well with its team on developing the design, including the colors to make the tubs attract the attention of the consumers.’
