Trop50 given makeover by Spear

Trop50, a brand extension of US orange juice Tropicana, has had a makeover has a new look with a clear, curved bottle featuring pressure sensitive labels from Spear.
Introduced in 2009, the Trop50 range contains a variety of juices offering a 50 percent reduction in sugar and calories. The brand uses Stevia, a natural sweetener, and the developers were keen to showcase the range as 100 percent natural. They achieved this with a clear PET bottle revealing the product’s colors and flavors.
The required result was achieved with the SpearSystem approach, which the company describes as a ‘client-focused project management program providing solutions for all aspects of the label’s development’. Spear produced a distinctive, curvaceous label that follows the contour of the bottle, featuring bold colors to compliment the natural tones of the fruit juice.
