Comexi Group has confirmed the sale of two F2 flexographic printing presses to Clondalkin Group.
The machines will be installed in the premises of Flexoplast in the Netherlands and Germany’s Wentus Kunststoff, companies attached to Clondalkin’s flexible packaging operations.
Clondalkin already works with Comexi presses, and the press manufacturer said its positive experience with its previous models contributed to the order for two new presses.
The F2 incorporates 10 patents related to the grids, doctor blades, drying screen, feeder reel, layout and Cingular modules.
Comexi said that by introducing changes to the structure of the press, accessibility to all points that affect operability, functioning and maintenance has been improved. These innovations also reduce the time needed for changing jobs.
