OPM signs off Nilpeter FA-22 press
UK-based OPM (Labels and Packaging) Group has visited Nilpeter headquarters in Denmark for the Factory Acceptance test (FAT) of its new FA-22 machine. The investment aims to support the company’s accelerating growth in Europe and the US.
OPM announced the investment in February 2022, when it signed the purchase agreement for two fully automated Nilpeter FA22 presses: a 12-color 22in FA-line for the company’s UK facility and a 10-colour FA-22 to be installed in the US.
The UK-destined model incorporated hot air drying, LED UV curing and in-line solvent lamination capabilities. The investment is designed to support the growth of the company’s short to medium-run flexible packaging business, as well as its success in the multi-layer peel and read label segment.

The second fully automated press, a 10-colour Nilpeter FA22, which will be installed in the US, will enable OPM to meet further demand for its patented TLC label closure system in the North American hygiene and wipes sectors.

We’re therefore seeing significant demand from the US for this innovation and it's only right we commit to production locally to ensure we can maintain the customer service and supply standards our customers have come to recognize us for.’
