HON-ING, one of the leading Croatian packaging printers and long-time Nilpeter customer, has expanded its production with the first Nilpeter FA-26 press in the Adriatic region.

The Nilpeter FA-26 is expected to be delivered before this summer.

For years HON-ING has relied on Nilpeter’s flexo machinery to drive its business forward. The company has previously invested in multiple Nilpeter presses, including the FA-3300, FA-6, FA-22, and FA-4. Its continued trust in Nilpeter highlights the Danish manufacturer’s ability to deliver high-quality label and flexible packaging production equipment.

‘Nilpeter has always been our preferred partner in flexo printing. Their technology, reliability, and support have consistently enabled us to stay ahead of the curve. With the FA-26, we are now ready to expand our capabilities in flexible packaging, meeting the growing demand for high-quality, sustainable packaging solutions,’ said Željka Kašnar, executive director at HON-ING.

Nilpeter’s FA-26 is designed specifically for the flexible packaging market, catering to the increasing demand for short-run, high-quality, sustainable production. The press offers a 26in web width, high-speed performance and a modular platform, allowing for easy integration of additional processes such as lamination, cold foil and gravure coating. This makes it suitable for flexible packaging converters looking to enhance efficiency and print quality.

‘HON-ING investment in the FA-26 is an important step for the region and strengthens Nilpeter’s position in mid-web flexo printing for flexible packaging,’ commented Alex Aarslew-Jensen, international sales manager at Nilpeter.

Jani Lasic, CEO of Conatus, Nilpeter’s partner in the region, added: ‘HON-ING has been a loyal and valued customer for years, and we are proud to support it as it takes this next step. The market and opportunities with its new FA-26 are substantial, and we look forward to growing even further together with them.’

According to Nilpeter, the global flexible packaging industry is evolving rapidly, with an increased demand for sustainable products, shorter lead times, and high-quality print production.

HON-ING’s new FA-26 investment positions the company at the forefront of this trend, enabling it to offer advanced flexible packaging products while maintaining the high level of quality and service that its customers expect. With the new FA-26, the converter can achieve an even wider format and higher speeds, with an expected speed increase of more than 50 percent.
