Taiwanese converter Ruey Chang has installed the region’s first flexo Electron Beam printing press by Comexi and developer of Electron Beam (EB) energy curing systems Energy Sciences Inc (ESI).
This machine is a Comexi F4 flexo printing press prepared to run ESI’s GelFlex EB technology.
High quality printing, reduction of VOC emissions and energy consumption and improved mechanical resistances are some of the key advantages that printing with EB curable inks can offer in comparison with conventional solvent printing inks.
The machine is expected to be installed and fully operative in 2025.
