Design defines Paragon Label web development

- Aiming to get people to look deeper at what the printing process is about
- 'We wanted to show people that printing a label is really an art form that takes many different shapes’
Paragon Label has launched a new-look website designed to provide an alternative to the traditional business-to-business (B2B) online presence.
The family-owned pressure-sensitive label printer, based in Sonoma County, California, said the website, at www.paragonlabel.com, is a “stylish, design-driven presentation” and is a “far cry from typical B2B sites”, giving a “whole new and totally unexpected designer look to the unglamorous image of a 25,000 sq ft printing plant”.
‘When you think about a printing factory, you usually don’t think about something elegant,’ said Paragon Label president Jason Grossman.
‘So when we decided to create a brand-new web site, we wanted to show people that printing a label is really an art form that takes many different shapes. Our goal is to get people to take a further look at what the printing process is all about, from process and collaboration to sustainability and keeping manufacturing in the US. A label is so much more than something you stick on a bottle.’
Paragon Label has won more than 25 awards for technical excellence in label printing, plus more than a dozen national and international awards for their innovative environmental practices.
Grossman added: ‘We are a pretty interesting printing operation. We are very committed to our recycling program, our employees support our conservation measures and if we can help other businesses succeed in their own environmental efforts, we’re glad to do it.’
Website designer Paulette Nolan said: ‘Paragon Label has always been on the edge of technology and dedicated to quality.
‘As a company they embrace innovation, enjoy the design process, and make you feel like you are part of the family. Our combined efforts truly shine with the new website.’
