AstroNova launches QL-1200S wide sheet label printer

AstroNova, a provider of data visualization technologies, launched the new QL-1200S — its next-generation A3 wide sheet label printer.

The QL-1200S is designed for full-color printing directly onto sheet materials with ink-receptive surfaces.

Equipped with aqueous pigmented inks, the QL-1200S delivers labels with high lightfastness, water resistance and scratch protection. When used on approved materials, it produces BS 5609-certified labels, including GHS hazard warning labels and horticultural labels or tags, capable of withstanding demanding environments.

Features of the new QL-1200S label printer include high-throughput sheet-fed printing with speeds up to 6,500 letter/A4 pages per hour; printing up to 1200 dpi; and support for print widths up to 11.7in (297 mm), ideal for A3 wide-format sheet materials.
