Esko makes double appointment to target growth
- Korte to lead worldwide sales, marketing and service operations in pursuit of new business
- Zincke replaces Nicolai Gradman in digital finishing role
Esko has announced two appointments aimed at growing its business around the world.
Christian Korte has been appointed to the newly created position of senior vice president of sales.
In this role, Korte (pictured, top) will oversee sales, marketing and service activities worldwide, with a focus on extending the company's reach into new segments at existing customers and in adjacent markets.
He will take global responsibility for sales, marketing and services emphasizing solution selling to meet customer requirements for reduced time to market and consistent quality regardless of geographical location.
Carsten Knudsen, chief executive officer of Esko, said: ‘Esko customers are under increasing pressure to develop their brands and the marketing messages carried by the packaging at an ever accelerating pace. Esko is uniquely positioned to address these needs.
‘To further develop this business opportunity, we have appointed Christian to take the role of senior vice president of sales and assume overall responsibility for our company’s sales, marketing and service.
‘The market is evolving quickly, which presents us with numerous opportunities. With Christian’s proven track record and expertise, we and our customers will be able to make the most of them.’
Elsewhere, Marian Zincke (pictured, left) has been appointed as the new vice president for digital finishing, replacing Nicolai Gradman, who left Esko to pursue other opportunities.
