Reflex Group invests in Grafotronic machines

The company will begin the installation of these machines in the autumn of 2024.

Reflex Group, a global label and packaging producer, has invested 2 million euros in a suite of Grafotronic machines to be installed at multiple facilities across the globe.

This strategic investment includes a mix of Grafotronic DCL machines ranging from 350 to 550 mm in width and an advanced DCL Haptic embellishing line.

The decision to invest in Grafotronic’s equipment aligns with Reflex Group’s strategy to produce high-quality labels. Reflex Group has over two decades of experience, focusing on sustainability and technological advancements in the label and packaging industry.

Paul Hughes, managing director at Grafotronic UK, said: ‘The purchase from Reflex Labels sends a clear signal to the UK label industry that Grafotronic has arrived. With 20 years of expertise in designing and manufacturing innovative digital finishing machines in Europe and the US, I am proud to bring this experience to the UK market. This deal marks our intentions to grow in the UK and I am committed to bringing new customers onboard in both the UK and Republic of Ireland.’

Grafotronic reports that its DCL series is flexible, fast and equipped with advanced automation features. The fully modular design of these machines allows for seamless integration into Reflex’s existing production workflows, providing high-speed finishing solutions that are both operator-independent and highly efficient. According to Reflex, the inclusion of the DCL Haptic embellishing line further enhances the range of finishing options available, enabling it to offer unique, tactile effects that elevate the quality of its labels.

The installation of these machines is scheduled to begin in the autumn of 2024, aligning with Reflex Group’s ongoing journey toward excellence in label and packaging production.
