The chemical giant increased its prices from July 1, or as contracts allow, for resins and additives in Europe, Africa and Western Asia by 3-10 percent. The products affected by the price increase are used as raw materials in the coatings, printing and packaging industries.
It said the price increase is necessary to offset continued high feedstock costs, transportation and energy costs.
