Technicote marks year of no lost-time injury

A lost-time accident is a work-related injury that hinders an employee from being able to carry out his or her regular job duties. This achievement represents nearly 147,000 hours by more than 70 plant and corporate employees.

‘A great milestone and another step forward for us,’ said President Frank Gavrilos. ‘A lot of companies say people are important but it comes down to walking the talk and creating the right culture. I can always tell about a company when I walk into one of their sites. I learned early in my career that there is a direct correlation between the strength of the Safety Program and success in other areas.’
