Kroschke buys HP Indigo WS6800

Kroschke Signs International has purchased an HP Indigo WS6800 digital press that it will use to produce a wide variety of labeling products quickly and cost effectively, and respond to the specific needs of each individual customer.

By default, the HP Indigo WS6800 prints in 4-color mode with HP IndiChrome technology, but 6- and 7-color printing is possible

Kroschke Signs International is one of the largest manufacturers of signs and technical labels in Europe. The Braunschweig-based company prints a wide range of signs and labeling products for the safety and regulatory markets, including inspection stickers and labels for hazardous substances. The company’s printing facilities serve their own products as well as those of external customers.

The HP Indigo WS6800 is designed for printing on a wide range of substrates including self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves, wrap-around labels, tube laminates and cartons. By default, the machine prints in 4-color mode with HP IndiChrome technology, but 6- and 7-color printing is possible.

‘As unique as each company is, so are its requirements,’ said Rolf Maaß, managing director of Kroschke Signs International. ‘The new press is therefore a direct investment in the satisfaction of our customers.

‘HP has helped us to simplify our complex workflows, giving us great confidence, and we look forward to continuing and expanding on this successful partnership in the future.’
