The latest innovation for harsh environments supports longer product life cycles and waste reduction.
Avery Dennison has launched AD Dura 2.0, a reinforced reusable label product offering resistance to water, heat, vibration and shock.
Designed for harsh environments, the AD Dura 2.0 can be used in conjunction with a host of Avery Dennison RFID UHF and HF/NFC inlay designs for dry and wet label formats including the AD Circus NTAG213 and AD Dogbone M730. The new product supports longer product life cycles and waste reduction.
Main UHF applications include supply chain transparency and optimization, inventory accuracy, loss prevention, self-checkout and quick return handling. The UHF version is intended for industry, supply chain, logistics and automotive usage. Primary HF/NFC applications include product authentication, customer engagement and experience, brand loyalty and protection. The HF/NFC is designed for use in retail, apparel, beauty and healthcare.
Avery Dennison inlays and tags are compliant with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management, which ensure a reliable product that meets a variety of application needs.
Mathieu De Backer, vice president innovation and sustainability at Avery Dennison Smartrac, said: ‘Increased product life cycles and waste reduction are longstanding key challenges for our clients. AD Dura 2.0 supports these ambitions by ensuring our high performing inlays withstand the harshest environments to aid supply chain transparency, product authentication, customer engagement and beyond.’
