Tageos renews ARC Quality Certification
The certification was renewed by the RFID Lab at Auburn University for all the company’s operations worldwide.
Tageos has announced that its comprehensive ARC Quality Certification has been renewed by the RFID Lab at Auburn University for all its operations worldwide, reinforcing the company's position in the RFID market.
The French RFID powerhouse, which recently opened two production facilities in the United States (Fletcher, NC) and China (Guangzhou), significantly expanded its product portfolio and production capacity to more than 10 billion units annually.
With this renewed ARC Quality Certification, Tageos has also received ARC product certifications for additional RAIN RFID inlays. This includes the ultra-compact EOS-261 M830, the first certified M830 inlay to specifically achieve ARC Specs I, R and Y2 with an ideal antenna size of 44 x 20 mm, allowing Tageos' customers, such as service bureaus, converters and system integrators to use a single, high-performance small inlay for many different retail items and categories.
According to the company it makes it easier to comply with RFID mandates and is particularly important for a variety of products in apparel, general merchandise, sporting goods, accessories and jewelry. The EOS-261 M830 is also available in FSC certified paper formats.
Like all Tageos RFID products, the EOS-261 M830 complies with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, as well as the RoHS and REACH Environmental Directives. It also uses sustainable materials such as FSC certified paper wherever possible.
‘We are very honored and pleased to have our ARC Quality Certification renewed. This is especially noteworthy given the recent opening of our two newest state-of-the-art facilities and our continued commitment to quality, innovation and sustainable growth. It is also a strong testament to our consistent and deep commitment to our customers' needs and a renewed, formal affirmation that customers and partners have made the right choice in trusting an RFID market leader,’ said Chris Reese, CTO at Tageos. ‘It underscores our unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality and best performance - for every single product, from every single manufacturing facility.’
