Wise acquires assets of Phoenix Data

Wise, a business forms, labels and digital printing specialist, has acquired Phoenix Data of Montgomery, PA. This acquisition follows Wise’s purchase of Mini Data in Charlotte, NC earlier this year.

Phoenix Data prints business forms and associated services and sells through independent distributors, primarily in the Eastern United States. This makes it a natural complement to Wise’s existing business. 

Wise’s customer-centric approach to business means that, with its new CSR team at Wise, Phoenix Data customers will still experience the same level of customer support and care that they are used to.

Wise’s broader range of capabilities, however, also gives them access to additional services, including prime and industrial labels, digital web-to-print programs for large clients, short-run digitally printed labels, personalized and hyper-customized labels and mosaic designs for short- and long-run labels.

Former Phoenix Data President, Larry Lovell, will continue with Wise to assist with the transition of business.

This acquisition comes on the heels of Wise's continued growth in the sector, including the purchase of Mini Data in Charlotte, NC. Earlier this year, Wise installed a new HP Indigo 6K digital label press to drive continued expansion in its prime and industrial labels business. Last year it opened a new production and warehousing location in Anderson, South Carolina, to accommodate its explosive growth in the tag and label market.

In addition to the Anderson plant, Wise operates four other production locations, including Alpharetta, GA; Ft. Wayne, IN; Portland, ME; and Butler, PA.
