QuickLabel adds high volume printing plug-in

AstroNova’s QuickLabel business unit has introduced a high volume printing plug-in to support chemical manufacturers in the production of GHS-compliant labels.

The new plug-in enables integration with QuickLabel printers for the production of GHS-compliant labels in the correct size, shape and color

The plug-in features support from SAP and its environment, health and safety (EHS) management software. AstroNova said the SAP EHS module helps chemical manufacturers comply with the ever-increasing myriad of documentation requirements in their industry, including proper labeling under the globally harmonized system of classification and labeling of chemicals (GHS). The new plug-in enables integration with QuickLabel printers for the production of GHS-compliant labels in the correct size, shape and color.

AstroNova president and CEO Greg Woods commented: ‘QuickLabel has years of experience working with chemical companies to print custom product labels in real-time in the quantities needed. The SAP EHS software module integrated with QuickLabel printers now makes the GHS compliance process easier than ever.’
