Becker joins Hostmann-Steinberg after KBA exit
- New role to enhance expertise in presses and printing technology with growing knowledge in printing inks
- Sales experience to 'trigger new stimulus' in important area
From November 1, former KBA Polska chief executive officer (CEO) Oliver Becker has taken on sheet-fed offset inks sales for hubergroup’s Hostmann-Steinberg in Celle.
It was announced in October that Becker was handing control of KBA’s Polish sales and service subsidiary to Jan Korenc.
Becker is now in charge of sales for Hostmann-Steinberg’s sheet-fed offset inks in Celle and will work in close co-operation with the hubergroup companies across Europe.
Hostmann-Steinberg’s product portfolio includes inks, coatings and varnishes.
He joins after six years with KBA Polska and its successor company, KBA Central Eastern Europe.
Becker says the new role will enable him to enhance his expertise in presses and printing technology with growing knowledge in printing inks. ‘The close cooperation between technical service and product development makes this position so interesting.’
Stefan Müller, CEO of Hostmann-Steinberg Celle, said: ‘We are delighted that [he] has chosen to join us, bringing with him his wealth of sales expertise. We expect he will trigger new stimulus in this important market segment for us.’
