Bobst appoints sales director in Mexico
Carlos Eduardo Rodríguez Ramírez joins Bobst with 25 years’ experience in flexographic printing and label production processes
Bobst has appointed Carlos Eduardo Rodríguez Ramírez as sales director for narrow mid-web printing and converting solutions for the Latin America North region. Rodríguez will cover all range of label solutions by Bobst, including flexo, digital inkjet and All-in-One presses.
With a degree in Graphic Communications and a Diploma in Manufacturing Administration, Rodríguez also has 25 years’ experience in flexographic printing and label production processes. Throughout his career, he has held a range of roles in design management, pre-press and production. During the last 10 years, he has been particularly focused on the commercial side of the industry, offering complete solutions to label converters, including software (design and pre-press automated flows), equipment related to the manufacturing of printing plates, digital printing and flexo presses, and finishing technologies.
With a proven track record of building strong relationships with clients and the development of successful long-lasting partnerships, Rodríguez brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the label industry to the Bobst team.
‘Bobst is super excited to be working with Carlos Rodríguez again in the Mexican market. Knowing that Carlos has had vast experience with Bobst Narrow Mid-Web flexo products in the past, as well as having extensive knowledge of digital label printing technology, we were very keen to get him on board with us,’ said Nigel Tracy, global technology sales director – Digital Printing & Converting.
‘The icing on the cake when hiring Carlos was finding out that he’s spent the last few years at a label converter, so he has a great appreciation and understanding from both perspectives.’
Bobst invites all customers and partners to meet our team in person at Labelexpo Mexico, from April 26 to 28, World Trade Center - Mexico City, Booth D16.
