hubergroup makes strategic additions to management team

- Ashwani Bhardwaj and Heiner Klokkers elevated to management team

- Appointments to integrate regions more closely in future strategic development

European ink manufacturer hubergroup has appointed Ashwani Bhardwaj and Heiner Klokkers to its management team in a move to assist the company with future strategic development.

As of January 1, Bhardwaj took the lead in operations Management in Asia, while Klokkers (pictured, top) holds a similar position in Europe.

The company said the appointments are intended to intensify the group's focus on its operational activities and to integrate the regions more closely into the task of planning future strategic development.

Bhardwaj (pictured, left) joined Micro Inks, the Indian arm of the hubergroup in 1995, where his most recent post was that of managing director. He has 23 years of experience in printing inks.

Klokkers began his career at BASF. In 2004, he joined hubergroup as head of sales for Michael Huber München GmbH. 2010 saw him also take over responsibility for key account management and the company's liquid inks operations across Europe.

Thomas L. Hensel, chief executive officer and head of operations management for the Americas at hubergroup, said: ‘We can count ourselves lucky to have such talented people among our own employees.
