Sunil Gupta joins Memjet board of directors
Sunil Gupta has joined the Memjet board of directors as the company seeks to capitalize on growth opportunities presenting to the inkjet specialist.
For the past four decades, Gupta has held leadership positions in large enterprises, including Fuji Xerox Australia, Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific, and Xerox International Partners. From 2016 to 2018, he was managing director of the largest Fuji Xerox sales entity, Fuji Xerox Australia. In this role, Gupta transformed the organization into a ‘viable, compliant, profitable and growing company’. He also served on the Fuji Xerox Australia board of directors from 2016 to 2018.
Prior to his role at Fuji Xerox Australia, Gupta was managing director of the Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific, Malaysia operations. He provided the vision needed to realign the company, reverse a sharply declining trend, and deliver two consecutive years of double-digit revenue, profit, market share and customer satisfaction growth.
Before his work at Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific, Gupta was president and CEO of Xerox International Partners from 2002 to 2012. In this role, he actively engaged key stakeholders from the company and OEMs to execute a shared vision. The strategic plans he developed set the stage for new technologies, product platforms and value-added services that resulted in revenue growth and customer loyalty in a flat market.
Memjet CEO Len Lauer said: ‘Mr Gupta joins Memjet’s board of directors at a time of great growth and opportunity for our company. Today, our modular technology provides a growing number of global OEM partners with the speed, simplicity and profitability needed to shorten their development time and bring products to market more efficiently.
