Sven Michael takes over at KBA-MePrint
The supervisory board of KBA-MePrint AG has appointed Sven Michael as the new chief executive officer of the Koenig & Bauer subsidiary.

Michael replaces Axel Thien, who has left the company at his own request to take up a new executive position in European sales at another company.
He has many years of experience in the print industry and he joined KBA as project manager for the digital printing segment in 2012. Prior to moving to KBA, he worked as a controller at a prominent German bank before spending 12 years at Heidelberg, six of which as head of business operations and consumables in the digital division Linoprint.
Along with KBA-MePrint’s offset systems for waterless UV printing on film, smart cards, data storage devices and other materials, Michael is to focus more strongly on digital and hybrid printing systems for packaging and other application fields.
