Xeikon ThermoFlexX appointment to drive distribution in North America

- Priority to develop distribution strategy for ThermoFlexX products in North America

 

- Appointment supports focus to be leader in label and packaging industries

 

Digital printing specialist Xeikon has appointed Rick Mix as the channel manager for its ThermoFlexX product line in North America, who will make developing a successful distribution strategy his top priority.

 

Mix joins Xeikon with a strong background in flexographic and letterpress technologies. He has previously worked for suppliers in the industry, such as Dantex and Stork Prints America, and served as the technical director for the Flexographic Technical Association for more than three years.

 

Xeikon acquired the rights to the ThermoFlex trademark from Eastman Kodak earlier this year.

 

The ThermoFlexX product line extends Xeikon’s CtP business into the flexographic and letterpress markets, further reinforcing Xeikon's commitment to the label and packaging markets.

 

ThermoFlexX is a line of reliable, high-quality digital imagers for flexographic and letterpress plate making, and was launched as part of the Xeikon portfolio at Drupa earlier this year.

Mix said: ‘My top priority is to develop a successful distribution strategy for the ThermoFlexX products in North America.
