UPM Rafsec seals China RFID partnerships
UPM Rafsec has announced a partnership with three new system integrators in China on a non-exclusive basis. The three new partners are Ubhitech, Vision Electronics and Best Technology. Located in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou respectively, each system integrator has more than eight years of experience in the RFID industry and will provide total RFID solutions based on UPM Rafsec’s broad range of state-of-the-art RFID tags, in addition to hardware and software. Liu Hong, UPM Rafsec business development manager, China comments, ‘China being a rapidly developing RFID market for UPM Rafsec requires us to develop strong strategic alliances with partners whom we can trust and work together in the long term.’ Zhang Jun, sales manager of Ubhitech comments, ‘We believe that UPM Rafsec has the most comprehensive range of RFID tags in the world. RFID applications in China are quite diversified and having a partner who can support us with a full range of HF and UHF RFID tags is extremely valuable.’ Said Zhan Ge Jun, CEO of Vision Electronics, ‘We are very pleased to be able to work together with UPM Rafsec in China. We foresee explosive growth for the RFID market in China over the next few years and having a strong RFID tag partner like UPM Rafsec will enable us to meet this growth head on.’
