Meitai invests in Hontec flexo press

Meitai, one of the leading laminated tube manufacturers in South China, has invested in a 9-color Hontec flexo press equipped with non-stop unwind-rewind system. The machine has already commenced mass production, showcasing remarkable stability in its operations.

Meitai utilized Hontec's HS-260 letterpress for printing on laminated tubes prior to upgradieng the equipment to the latest FlexiCon series machine.

The FlexiCon series offers versatility to handle a wide array of applications, including self-adhesive labels, wraparound labels, shrink sleeves, lids, tags and tickets, in-mold labels (IML), laminated tubes, wet-glue labels and multi-layer labels.

A key feature of the FlexiCon series are dual independent servo motors in each printing unit, ensuring precise material tension control and printing registration. Hontec's innovative inclusion of an idler impression roller and a separate chilling roller addresses the common issue of ink residue. The quick-change roller system further allows for easy adjustments to accommodate different material thicknesses.
