hubergroup ink series on Blue Angel certification list
hubergroup customers who use the Rapida Eco, Eco Perfect Dry and Resista ink series will be able to obtain a Blue Angel certification.
hubergroup Germany's offset product series Rapida Eco, Eco Perfect Dry and Resista are on Blue Angel's environmental certification positive list.
This means that hubergroup customers who use these ink series will be able to obtain the Blue Angel certification for printed products (DE-ZU 195). This certification confirms that the products meet certain environmental and sustainability standards and leave a minimal ecological footprint.
hubergroup achieved a positive deinking test on 100gsm uncoated paper for all three series. Eco Perfect Dry and Rapida Eco were accepted at 115 gsm and 120 gsm, respectively, when combined with the hubergroup's water-based coating.
‘With our environmentally friendly offset printing inks, we can help printing companies to meet the requirements for Blue Angel certification,' said René Bleicker, consulting and sales, sheetfed/UV, hubergroup Germany. 'Our wide range of offset printing inks, water-based coatings and dampening solution additives is specifically designed to support our customers on their journey towards greater sustainability and environmental protection.'
‘Our commitment to environmental protection and sustainability is demonstrated by the development of innovative solutions that are both high quality and environmentally friendly,' added Jan Museler, product manager, hubergroup Germany. 'This enables our customers to meet the highest environmental standards themselves and achieve their ecological goals.'
