Zeller+Gmelin focuses on current trends at Labelexpo Europe 2025

Zeller+Gmelin has confirmed its participation at Labelexpo Europe 2025 where the Eislingen-based printing ink specialist focuses on current trends in the label industry. 

In less than half a year, Labelexpo Europe 2025 will take place at its new location in Barcelona. Two important developments are emerging in particular. The first is the shift from traditional UV curing to LED UV technology, and the second is the increasing influence of legal requirements. The company will present technologies for both during the trade fair.  

A large portion of the new products are designed for use in the rapidly growing LED UV segment. This applies, among others, to the Uvaflex LED FCM Y581 ink series (for food packaging) and the Uvaflex LED Y580 series (for non-food applications), as well as the Toracur W580 series for waterless offset printing. By deciding to use LED UV technology, printing companies are initiating a transformation process with complex effects across various production areas. Zeller+Gmelin has many years of experience in this field, which the company offers its customers as support.  

At the same time, the printing ink manufacturer has recently revised its product range to meet the future requirements of the 21st Regulation Amending the Consumer Goods Regulation. The legal requirement, commonly known as the Printing Ink Regulation, was published in December 2021 and will take effect on January 1, 2026, after a four-year transition period. The latest revision also makes ink series such as Uvaflex FCM Y81, which has been a standard for food applications in the Eislingen-based printing ink specialist's portfolio for years, compliant with the German Printing Ink Regulation.  

Due to their actuality, the two topics listed above will be at the forefront of Zeller+Gmelin's presence at Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona (September 16-19, 2025).
