Wikoff Color appoints Sachin Nayar as VP of R&D

Nayar has more than 15 years of experience in the coatings, inkjet and specialty chemicals industries.

Wikoff Color, a provider of colorants, coatings and specialty inks, has appointed Sachin Nayar as vice president of research and development, effective Dec 2, 2024. Nayar will be based at the company's corporate office, overseeing all aspects of R&D.

Nayar has more than 15 years of experience in the coatings, inkjet and specialty chemicals industries. He began his career as an inkjet ink formulator with the Eastman Kodak Company before progressing to global leadership roles at AkzoNobel and PPG Industries. Most recently, he served as ink innovation director at BIC Corporation in France, where he led teams in developing bio-sourced stationery inks. Throughout his career, Nayar has aligned formulation development with regulatory compliance, sustainability and commercialization viability.

Nayar will lead the company’s R&D teams at the Milwaukee and Alpharetta plants, in addition to the Fort Mill team. This change is part of the company’s broader initiative to enhance teamwork across R&D functions and further align efforts to meet evolving customer demands.
