BST co-founder and CEO retires

In a ceremony on December 4, 2010, Wolfgang Kuester, co-founder and long-time CEO of BST International, bade farewell to his colleagues and friends at the company. The event marked the end of Kuester’s professional relationship with BST, which has lasted for nearly 33 years.

As one of the founders of BST International, the manufacturer of quality assuring systems for the web processing industry, Kuester has been involved with the company since its inception in 1978. Since then he has held a number of positions, including technical manager, sales manager and CEO from 1990 to 2010 – both alone and in partnerships. He retired from active participation on BST International’s executive board on February 1, 2010, but had remained connected with the company. Percy Dengler took over the position vacated by Kuester as CEO of BST International.

The retirement party took place at the GOP Variety Show Theater in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, and was attended by around 300 guests – BST employees, executives from EMG, investors, as well as customers and other guests.
