Mepco Label Systems adds shrink sleeve production to portfolio

Mepco Label Systems, a California-based manufacturer of pressure-sensitive labels and flexible packaging, has added shrink sleeve production to its portfolio.

Founded in 1912, Mepco Label Systems is a supplier of labels, packaging and now shrink sleeves, and produces products for a variety of industries including food, produce, wine, dairy, cosmetics and household products.

As a result of this new development, Mepco will be one of a few companies in California to print and seam shrink sleeves, and offer its customers quick turnaround and smaller order volumes.

Mepco will be offering shrink sleeves in PETG, PVC, and PLA.

Jennifer Tracy, President of Mepco Label Systems, said: ‘Offering shrink sleeves to our customers gives our clients a great way to increase the wow factor in product marketing because shrink sleeves offer 360 degrees of print. 

‘Shrink sleeves are what consumers are demanding in packaging.’
