Sandon given international trade award

Sandon Global was presented with the award at its facility in Runcorn, Cheshire, on November 11, 2016. Staff from Sandon Global were joined by an official party including the Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire, David Briggs; The Mayor of Halton, Councillor Ged Philbin; and International Trade Adviser, UKTI, Bohdan Ratycz.

This celebration followed an audience with the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace in July, attended by John Millington, managing director and Nigel Hedges, operations director, from Sandon.

The Queen’s Award, in the International Trade category, recognizes outstanding achievement in performance in overseas investment and growth over the past six years.

John Millington, managing director of Sandon Global, said: ‘The official presentation of our Queen’s Award is an important day for Sandon and its staff. It recognizes the hard work of every member of the Sandon team and the enormous achievements Sandon has made in developing export markets across the world.’
