Paul Jenkins to present at ELF 2025

The founder of ThePackHub will offer a glimpse into the future of labels and packaging and innovations to watch in 2025.

Finat has confirmed that at this year’s European Label Forum (ELF), Paul Jenkins, founder of ThePackHub, will unveil a curated selection of cutting-edge developments reshaping the labels and packaging industry.

Drawing from a database of over 1,500 innovations annually, Paul will share insights, spotlight untapped opportunities, and explore how sustainability and creativity are driving the next wave of smart, functional and standout packaging design. From dissolvable skincare sachets to wooden wine labels and popcorn as packaging fillers – innovation in labels and packaging is thriving.

In the realm of consumer engagement, Coca-Cola introduced a limited-edition beverage featuring OLED labels. These labels incorporate organic light-emitting diode technology to create dynamic, illuminated designs, offering an interactive packaging experience that captivates consumers.

Addressing food waste concerns, Mimica Touch has developed a temperature-sensitive label indicating juice products' freshness. This label changes texture based on the product's temperature history, giving consumers a tactile indication of whether the juice is still safe to consume.

These examples represent a fraction of the groundbreaking developments in label and packaging design.

Paul Jenkins's session at the Finat European Label Forum 2025 promises to explore such innovations in-depth, providing attendees valuable insights into the industry's future.
