Chesapeake Corporation changes name

Chesapeake Corporation has re-branded its operations under the Chesapeake banner. ‘This global move consolidates the company’s packaging businesses under one name to emphasize the company’s common values, unified customer focus and broad capabilities to meet customers’ requirements,’ said the company in a statement.
‘The change in corporate identity will help support our drive for further growth and development. It will simplify business for current and future customers for whom the company’s broad range of capabilities and products will now be more visible. We are also looking at further acquisitions or joint ventures to strengthen and extend our integrated network,’ said Andrew J. Kohut, president & chief executive officer, Chesapeake Corporation.
The businesses affected by the changes include those that previously traded as Field Group, Field Packaging, Field Boxmore, Field First, Field Rotopack, Arlington Press and Boxmore Plastics.
