Dantex adds GIS and Esko software to Pico range

The company adds Esko DFE and GIS Atlas Software Platform for optimal print quality.

Dantex has strengthened the software capabilities of its Pico range of digital UV inkjet presses with the introduction of Global Inkjet Systems (GIS) and Esko’s turnkey software.

Esko DFE (Digital Front-end) is a turnkey technology for the Pico range within Dantex’s portfolio that enhances digital print for packaging. In addition, Dantex’s printhead, with defect-free nozzle technology, makes this the complete technology from print job creation to the optimization of print quality through precise printhead control.

The introduction of the Esko DFE benefits end users thanks to the software’s ease of use, efficiency, and features, such as control systems, which direct the flow of jobs through the Esko DFE components and store parameters and configurations. Thanks to the combination of GIS screening technologies and GIS Atlas IQ Tools for image quality control with missing nozzle and printhead density compensations, the result is a technology producing optimal performance and high print quality.

Dantex aims to offer its customers to output the optimal print quality, therefore, the integration of GIS Atlas Software Platform, with configurable print modes to control various resolutions, greyscale depths, greyscale mapping, colour channels, brand colour management and print queue control, is extremely important to their digital process.

‘The partnership between Dantex, Esko and GIS is the perfect example of how industry leaders working together with state-of-the-art technologies can provide significant end-user benefits,’ commented Simon Edwards, business and product manager for software at Global Inkjet Systems. ‘The end result is a seamless end-to-end solution with fast PDF processing, highly accurate colour reproduction with maximum image quality.’
