Edale signs new distributor for Russia

Edale signs new distributor for Russia
UK press manufacturer Edale has signed up ES Print to promote its range of printing presses and converting equipment throughout Russia.

ES Print was founded in 2004 and focuses on the supply of machinery, spare parts and consumables for the flexographic printing market across Russia.

ES Print plan to take part in the upcoming Polygraphinter event – the main printing show in Russia – and the company see this as a good place to present the Edale range to flexo printers, as well as sheet-fed offset customers looking to switch printing technologies.

Alexey Mosevnin, chief executive officer of ES Print, said: ‘We wanted to work with Edale as we feel our company principles are the same. We have an individual approach to every customer, with responsiveness and flexibility in our day to day operations.

‘It is a great pleasure to work with a company who really want to sell machines that will satisfy customer needs.’

The appointment of ES Print as Edale’s distributor in Russia follows a review by the UK press manufacturer of its distribution network, and analysis of potential growth markets.

James Boughton, Edale’s managing director, said: ‘Our target is to establish long term relationships with customers as well as our distributors. We were looking for a reputable company who have great contacts and who we could work with on an exclusive basis to strengthen the Edale brand within the territory, and after meeting with the ES Print team on a number of occasions - I believe they are the perfect fit.’

Bernhard Grob, Edale’s export sales director, added: ‘ES Print’s technical knowledge of the flexo process, as well as printing and converting equipment, has been a major reason to bring Edale’s new servo flexo press solutions across to Russia– very different to Edale’s earlier Russian success in the 1990s.

‘There is a real difference in our brand and technology, and I believe ES Print is able to convey this with strong technical arguments, and hopefully a number of installations soon.’
