GM premieres high speed single anvil die-cutter
The new single anvil die-cutter boasts a rotary die-cutting speed of 120m/min (400ft/min) in semi-rotary mode.
GM (Grafisk Maskinfabrik) has chosen Labelexpo Americas 2024 for the world premiere of its new high-speed single anvil die-cutter at Labelexpo 2024. The new machine is designed to revolutionize digital label finishing by offering high speeds and efficiency while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
The new single anvil die-cutter, integrated into GM's DC350 finishing line, boasts a rotary die-cutting speed of 120m/min (400ft/min) in semi-rotary mode, setting new industry standards for productivity.
Labelexpo attendees can experience customization options offered by the DC350Flex+ series. Whether operated as a standalone machine or integrated with a digital press, the DC350Flex+ is designed to adapt to production needs.
This cutting-edge technology also features a simplified design with significantly fewer parts than traditional double anvil systems, making it easier to maintain and more cost-effective.
‘We’re thrilled to showcase this technology at Labelexpo Americas 2024,’ said Matthew A. Gindele, vice president of sales for North America at GM. ‘Our new die-cutter sets a new standard for the industry, delivering high-speed performance without the complexities and costs associated with double anvil systems, while also providing maximum customization options.’
