Kurz India showcases sustainable foils at Labelexpo India 2024

The company displays its entire range of foils for embellishments and security.

Kurz India, part of the Kurz Group, has showcased an array of embellishment options in hot stamping, cold transfer and digital finishing at Labelexpo India 2024. The company has not only highlighted cold-transfer metallization, vibrant color effects and haptic enhancements, but it has also displayed sustainable products. All the products can be customized for industries such as labels, covers, beverages, cosmetics and security. 

Highlighting the company’s deep interest in sustainability, it has developed thinner transfer products that minimize material consumption to reduce CO2 footprint. Its new KPW slim product, with a six-micron carrier (brought down from the previous 10-micron), results in material-saving efforts. 

The company also showcased Silver Line range of foils that is designed to elevate product packaging and labels with metallic and 3D effects. These sustainable foils can be used for high-gloss, metallic, holographic and customizable 3D enhancements. It can be used on various substrates and optimized for high-speed printing machines. Its scratch-resistant property maintains appearance over time and under different conditions. It offers visual depth and shine at a competitive price. The variety of its effects enables converters to cater to diverse client requirements. 

The company has also presented its Distorun 2.0 module that enables optimal use of transfer carriers. Its Trustseal SFX technology creates eye-catching 3D effects to enhance product appeal. 

On the security front, Kurz India showcased counterfeit-proof label patterns, ensuring product safety with unique security features.
