PrintWrap invests in Rhyguan Plus Series
The machine was sold by Rhyguan's India-based distributor, Flexo Image Graphics.
PrintWrap, a subsidiary of Alpha Industries in Chennai, India, has installed a Rhyguan Plus Series to achieve more flexibility in its printing and production process.
The Rhyguan finishing system with multiple embellishments encompassing varnishing, screen printing, cold and hot foiling, lamination and die-cutting (flatbed or rotary with semi or full rotary mode) has been supplied and installed by Flexo Image Graphics (FIG).
M Abraham Roy, partner at Alpha Industries, recalled: 'Among those who supply machines and equipment to us, FIG is one of our closest allies. We bought our first Mark Andy 2200 press from them in 2007.'
Alpha Industry was established in 1978. Over the years, the company has expanded its product line, machine portfolio and business verticals. It branched out PrintWrap in 2012.
'Satisfied with the machine and unconditional support from the supplier, we bought our second machine from FIG in 2015, an 8-color Mark Andy 2200 full UV label press,' added M Abraham Roy. 'In the following year, we added a Rotoflex VSI with Nikka inspection camera. This is how we progressed with machines from FIG. Then, in 2020, we installed a 10-color Mark Andy Performance Series P-7, followed by our second Rotoflex VSI with Nikka inspection camera in the very next year. And the latest is the Rhyguan Plus Series with multiple embellishments.'
'Operating across our two units, we predominantly work for clients from two key sectors, viz. liquor and FMCG. We are thankful to FIG for the capable, efficient and cost-effective machines with which we could meet any demand from our clients, who are very quality conscious,' said Mathew Vaidyan A, son of M Abraham Roy and proprietor of PrintWrap.
He continued: 'So far, every single machine we buy from FIG is best-in-class model. Our latest addition, Rhyguan Plus Series, which is designed and engineered for multiple embellishments, is no exception. Output of this machine is great when it comes to finishing digitally printed labels with high-quality embellishments. In a way, its advanced capacity of carrying out multiple embellishments adds new value to labels or packaging graphics that eventually stand out amid crowds.'
Gaurav Roy, director, FIG, shared: 'It’s good to partner with PrintWrap, which has been one of our valued customers for years. Their constant investments in our machines have proved that they are not only a repeat buyer but also satisfied with our products and service. Besides quality products, we equally prioritize in providing quality after-sales service too.'
