Vee Kay Industries goes for second Rhyguan finisher from FIG

Delhi, India-based label converter Vee Kay Industries has installed the second Rhyguan Smart 450 with Luster 100 percent camera to service increasing demand for high-volume jobs. The machine was supplied by Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), supplier of flexo presses and allied equipment in the Indian sub-continent.  

The converter maintains print quality and productivity using a fleet of high-end presses such as Mark Andy and predominantly supplies products to leading liquor brands.                         

Founded in 1988 by Yogesh Aggarwal, Vee Kay Industries was called Printpack. Yogesh Aggarwal’s son Vidur Aggarwal has joined the family business. ‘Proud to be the next-gen in the business, we are looking forward and moving ahead for expanding on all fronts,’ said Vidur Aggarwal.   

Upgrading its machine portfolio, Vee Kay Industries installed the first Rhyguan Smart 450 with Luster 100 percent camera a few months back. Vidur Aggarwal remarked: ‘Rhyguan Smart 450 finishing system is perfect for high speed and high precision finishing. It’s an ideal finishing and inspection machine to make every single label we produce really “smart” and defect-free.’ 

He added: ‘Since we received an unprecedented demand for high-volume jobs from highly quality-conscious liquor companies, we needed one more Rhyguan machine to manage it. So, we have added just another Rhyguan Smart 450 with Luster 100 percent camera for precisely managing productivity and quality in finishing and inspection of alco-bev labels, maintaining the quality standards and regulatory requirements.’ 

Vee Kay Industries has roped in a handful of leading brands in the sector such as Royal Stag, Imperial Blue, Blenders Pride and 100 Pipers. ‘In addition, we have some important clients in the cosmetics and personal care sector too,’ Vidur Aggarwal mentioned adding that the company could achieve success because of its technology investments backed by technical support from FIG. 

In addition to Rhyguan and Luster, FIG represents a host of other global manufacturers including Mark Andy, Rotoflex, Kluge, KDS Quantum, Presstek, DYM Machinery and DCM ATN. Post-installations, FIG serves customers through a centralized ‘Customer Support Department’ operated from its head office in Delhi connecting to Mumbai and Chennai branches.
