Vee Kay Industries invests Rhyguan and Luster systems

Delhi-based Vee Kay Industries has invested in a Rhyguan Smart 450 slitter rewinder and Luster inspection system to standardize quality and production processes using its fleet of Mark Andy, Bobst M4 and Bobst Master M5 flexo presses.

Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), one of the distributors and service providers of flexo presses and associated equipment in the Indian sub-continent, has played a pivotal role in the latest investment.

‘Our company was established in1988, under the name of Printpack. We then used to run a single-color offset press to print corrugated boxes and sticker labels. When we noted an increasing demand for self-adhesive labels in 2005, we purchased a pre-owned Mark Andy 4200, a 6-colour UV press with 1 IR unit, directly from the manufacturer, but it was supplied and installed by FIG,’ said Yogesh Aggarwal, owner of Vee Kay Industries.     

FIG is an exclusive sales and service partner of various leading international brands, such as Mark Andy, Rotoflex, Tools & Production (T&P) and Rhyguan.

‘With our longstanding trust in its products and service, we went to FIG for the highly cost-effective and user-friendly Rhyguan Smart 450 slitter rewinder with an off-line Luster inspection system and an on-line Luster inspection system for our Bobst Master M5 flexo presses at our facility,’ added Aggarwal.

Working predominantly for clients in the liquor sector, Vee Kay Industries has so far roped in big names like Pernod Ricard known for its popular brands like Royal Stag, Imperial Blue, Blenders Pride and 100 Pipers. Mohan Meakin Group is yet another big name in Vee Kay Industries’ current client list.

‘We are proud we are capable to supply quality alcohol beverage labels to these highly quality conscious companies,’ commented Aggarwal. ‘When we work with these big liquor brands for their labels, we strictly maintain quality standards and regulatory requirements.

‘We could pull it off all because of the machines and technologies we own. Right from the Mark Andy and Bobst flexo presses up to Rhyguan slitter rewinder and Luster systems, we have all advanced and efficient machines from FIG to meet our clients’ demands.’

According to Aggarwal, the company’s ultimate mission is to satisfy its customers by providing high-quality labels that enhance their brand identity and product appeal. He is already drawing a plan to add two more Rhyguan slitter rewinders to expand the company’s capacity.
