Labelnet has been producing labels since 1999, supplying a wide range of industries for a variety of applications.

The company said the Edale FL-3 fulfilled its search to improve its efficiency by offering a range of options to ensure maximum productivity and minimum downtime. The FL-3’s ‘on the fly’ job set-up and storage capability were crucial further factors in the investment decision. ‘Being able to prepare jobs in this way in our production facility is going to create a massive advantage for us,’ said Mark Slattery, operations director at Labelnet.

‘Not only will it increase productivity, we’ll also be able to reduce lead times, which ultimately means we’ll be able to take more work without compromising on the quality of our products.’

The FL-3 also allows Labelnet to explore a wider range of projects with its ability to produce unsupported material and board substrates.

‘We believe that being able to extend our offering with new products such as these is going to allow us to become a real force to be reckoned with in the UK labeling sector,’ said Simon Ewles, sales manager at Labelnet.

One of the special features of the FL-3 that Labelnet has chosen to invest in is a 100 percent web inspection system.
