Third Lombardi press installed in India

Massimo Lombardi, director of Lombardi Converting Machinery, said: ‘This is the third installation of Synchroline in India. All credit goes to Vinsak for selling Lombardi presses in such a short span of time. Synchroline 330 is a full servo 8-color UV flexo press. It is getting popular because of precision and ease of use. It has a pre-registered system, a corona treatment unit, a Lombardi patented Air Blade System (ABS) and servo motors on each of the printing stations, as well as die-cutting units.

On the installation of the press, S K Aggarwal, director of Print Square, commented: ‘Most of our clients are from the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, we wanted to foray into label printing business and include a flexo press at our factory. So, we decided to go for Lombardi Synchroline 330 based on positive reviews from the market.’

Where Synchroline will be used for label printing with lamination and gold foiling, the Vinsak LSR 330, equipped with EyeC camera for 100 percent inspection, will be used for slitting and rewinding of printed labels.  

Neeraj Sharma, executive director, Vinsak added: ‘It’s a good investment for Print Square to enter into the flexo market. The company will definitely reap fruits from this investment as there is a huge flexo market to be captured in India.’
